My stand-up work has taken me to a variety of venues. Among them are The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory and The Improv in Hollywood, Austin’s Cap City Comedy Club, Reno’s Grand Sierra Resort Hotel, Seattle’s Comedy Underground, the New York Comedy Club and Coconuts in Clearwater, Florida. I have also been on Comedy Central, written for and performed on the nationally syndicated radio show Mancow’s Morning Madhouse, trained with the world famous Groundlings, and starred in the sci-fi romp Babarellas.
In my work with the recovery community I have appeared as a comedian before thousands of people putting their lives back together in over 30 recovery houses in Southern California.
Since comedy comes from pain, I have a heck of a lot of material. Although my act is goofy and absurd, much of it centers on my father’s battle with alcoholism, my brother’s fight with drugs and alcohol and my unique life as the son of a loving mother with a gambling addiction. I am truly a child of addiction who has come out positive about what I’ve lived through. I get such a kick out of getting a hug after a show. It means that for just a short time someone got out of their head and understood they could experience joy without getting high.
"Chris is hilarious! He’s super likeable and can easily disarm a crowd. When he starts talking you know everything is going to be good. He has great compassion for recovery crowds. Recovery Through Laughter shows are top-notch and I look forward to my next show with them."

Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and The Late Late Show
My Recovery Through Laughter show brings some of the finest comics in the country to perform at recovery houses I have developed longstanding relationships with, including many comics who have appeared on The Tonight Show, The Late Show, Conan, HBO and Comedy Central. I produce these shows, which means I promote, headline and book them.
